Our accessibility target

This holding site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, at Level AA. It has not been independently certified, so we describe this as our target rather than claiming perfect conformance.

Accessibility features

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and navigation.
  • A skip link to bypass repeated page controls and navigation.
  • Visible keyboard focus and controls large enough to use without precise pointing.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow for narrow screens and browser zoom.
  • No essential information conveyed by colour alone.
  • Support for reduced-motion and forced-colour operating-system settings.
  • Self-hosted fonts, with no request to an external font service.
  • No autoplaying audio, video, pop-up or timed interaction.

Choose how the site looks

The display controls at the top of every page let you choose your device theme, light mode, dark mode or a high-contrast theme. You can also choose the primary font and increase the site’s font-size scale.

These choices are stored only in your browser. The site still works if JavaScript or browser storage is unavailable, using the default font and your operating system’s colour preference. The “Forget saved choices” button removes saved display settings at any time.

Known limitations

The linked previous-year sites are historical archives and may not meet the same accessibility standard as this holding site. Their content and interfaces have not been brought into this rebuild.

Email links depend on the visitor having an email application or webmail service. The full address is always shown as text so that it can be copied into another service.

Tell us if something gets in your way

If you find an accessibility barrier, email tech@d-v-s.online. If possible, tell us which page you were using, what went wrong, and the browser or assistive technology involved. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis.

If email itself is a barrier, contact us through DVS on Bluesky or DVS on Mastodon and ask for another way to report it.
