About the convention
About DVS
Digital Villainy Summit, pronounced “devious”, is an adults-only, online furry charity convention with a silly supervillain bent.
Queer villainy for a good cause
DVS brings artists, entertainers, writers, streamers and other colourful community members together online to make something creative, welcoming and delightfully nefarious while raising money for charity.
Across our events, the community has raised more than CAD $100,000 for charity. Our previous event sites remain available as a record of what the community built together.
DVS is reorganising in 2026
There will not be a DVS event in 2026. We are reviewing how DVS is organised and taking the time needed to decide what comes next. Future plans will be announced only when they are confirmed.
Frequently asked questions
What we can say while the villainous machinery is being rebuilt.
Is DVS happening in 2026?
No. There will not be a DVS convention in 2026.
Has DVS closed permanently?
No permanent closure has been announced. DVS is going through a reorganisation, and we do not want to promise a date or format before the work is ready.
When will the next DVS take place?
There is no confirmed event date at present, though we are aiming to return in Summer 2027. Any future date will be published on this website and through an official DVS channel.
Can I apply as a volunteer, dealer or panellist?
There are no 2026 event applications. Information about future recruitment and participation will be published if and when applications reopen.
Are the previous-year sites still current?
No. They are archives of earlier conventions. Dates, schedules, applications, team details, charity partnerships and policies shown there may be out of date.
Where should I look for reliable updates?
Check this website, DVS on Bluesky, or DVS on Mastodon. Information copied from an old event page may no longer be accurate.
How can I contact the team during the reorganisation?
Use the addresses on our contact page. Replies may take longer than usual while the team’s capacity is limited.
